GEYLANG CRUNK is an ever expanding collaborative virtual world that transcends the confines of traditional mediums and bridges the digital and physical realms. The GEYLANG CRUNK VR experience was showcased at the ArtScience Museum in Singapore as part of the MeshMinds 3.0: ArtxTech for Good exhibition from September 1-30.

The year is 2065. Neo-Santara is a beacon of hope in a world thrown into conflict. 
The climate catastrophe has pushed human civilization to the breaking point.

Geylang Crunk is an extrapolation of what life in SE Asia might look like in the year 2065 after artificial intelligence has replaced the need for human creativity and virtual reality has become preferable to actual reality. The story follows a group of artists and musicians as they fight back against the machine with their crafts while examining what it means to create through the lens of street art, music, and culture.
