Race Krehel (SuperCyberTown)

Co-Founder & Creative Director

Race Krehel aka ‘Super Cyber Town’ began his artistic journey at Lucasfilm Animation Singapore after graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2008.  After his work in the movie visual effects industry, he brought his knowledge of image synthesis into the nightlife scene across South East Asia, outfitting many popular venues around the region with interactive visuals, including completely projection mapping the main room of Zouk Nightclub for their 25th anniversary.  He also found work over the years in bringing many larger-than-life concepts to reality in events and activations for global brands such as Johnnie Walker and Heineken.

Race’s experience at a start-up immersive media studio Warrior9 VR as the Creative Director of Virtual Reality allowed him to work at the cutting edge of new graphics technology where he oversaw development of a studio’s sci-fi VR series called “The Phoenix”. While at Warrior9 VR, Race also developed the award winning “Oceans We Make” VR experience which has been showcased in many high profile events such as SIGGRAPH Asia and the United Nations Environment Programme.

Race is also a music producer and visual effects artist, as one half of the mastermind behind an Electronic Music audio/visual duo called Owe Money Pay Money - O$P$, known for their signature sound aptly called 'Geylang Crunk’. With music releases under record labels such as So Solid Records and Medium Rare Records, O$P$’s cyberpunk soundtracks are accompanied by a fully realized visual component that brings the world of Geylang Crunk to life.

In addition to regularly contributing to the SE Asian arts scene through award winning animations, music videos and exhibitions, Race has found a passion in real time graphics technology and storytelling and is considered an expert in the field with a speciality in Unreal Engine development and creating immersive content.

Technology is using creativity to change the world.

Benedict Teo (Zoosh33)

Co-Founder, Sound Designer

Starting his journey in Singapore’s Music, Entertainment & Nightlife scene, Benedict Teo experience in the industry spanned over 14 years. Formerly known as his stage name Zushan, Benedict started out as a competitive turntablist and battle DJ, winning the Phuture DJ Battle in July 2007, as well as being crowned champion at the Pioneer Digital DJ Singapore Championships in 2012, and going on to place 2nd Runner-Up in the Asia Finals. His next steps involved helming residencies and performing at many of the top clubs in Singapore such as CÉ LA VI Singapore, The Buttery Factory, and Zouk Singapore - which has consistently been ranked as one of the top 10 clubs in the World. Apart from nightclubs, he has performed at major festivals and events across the globe including Ultra Music Festival Korea, Summersonic Tokyo, It’s The Ship, Wonderfruit and ZoukOut Singapore, whilst also plying his skills in turntablism to perform with Live Bands at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games and 2011 Mosaic Music Festival.

Benedict is also a music producer, as one half of the mastermind behind an Electronic Music audio/visual duo called Owe Money Pay Money - O$P$, known for their signature sound aptly called 'Geylang Crunk’. With music releases under record labels such as So Solid Records and Medium Rare Records, O$P$’s cyberpunk soundtracks are accompanied by a fully realized visual component that brings the world of Geylang Crunk to life.

On top of performing on stages across the globe, Benedict also joined and eventually headed the Entertainment team of Zouk Singapore, planning and curating, booking and working with the biggest Electronic Dance Music Artistes all around the World for the Zouk clubs in Singapore and Genting Highlands, as well as for their in-house annual music festival ZoukOut Singapore. After leaving Zouk in 2019, Benedict set out on a mission to push the envelopes for the way art is presented in various outlets not limiting to nightlife and entertainment, drawing from his experience in curating big shows, as well as consulting and designing soundscapes to transform art into full sensory experiences, with his strong emphasis on fusing music & audio scapes with motion graphics.

As artists from the beginning of time always told stories through their art, I hope that today’s artists in different fields will start to combine different artforms with theirs by utilizing the endless possibilities of ever-growing technology to enhance the experience of their stories.
